manufacturing back to America. Key Job Functions : At VetPowered,
the CNC Machinery Repair Technician you will play a crucial role in
ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of CNC machines.
Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repair, and
preventive maintenance to guarantee the efficiency and accuracy of
CNC machining processes. This position requires a strong technical
background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work
independently and collaboratively with manufacturing teams and
outside organizations. Here is a detailed breakdown of your
responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Machine
Installation and Setup: Install and set up CNC machines according
to manufacturer specifications. Conduct thorough testing and
calibration to ensure accuracy and functionality. Routine
Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on CNC machines
to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance. Inspect, clean, and
lubricate machine components as part of routine maintenance
schedules. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot
mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with CNC machines.
Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and
maintain production schedules. Competently perform the repair and
maintenance of all Industrial Equipment as directed. This includes
all shears, press brakes, ironworkers, saws, CNC lathes, CNC mills,
CNC plasma tables, CNC oxy-acetylene tables, CNC lasers, CNC
waterjets, sanders, and other associated equipment. This may
require towing, rigging, and transporting equipment safely and
efficiently. Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and tests to
ensure CNC machines meet quality standards and produce accurate
components. Address and rectify deviations from quality
specifications. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine
maintenance, repairs, and service history. Document any
modifications made to machine configurations or settings.
Accurately document the maintenance and repairs of all machining
and related machinery repair equipment and vehicles assigned to the
machinery department as well as other equipment and vehicles that
you may be assigned. Training and Support: Provide training to
machine operators on proper CNC machine operation and basic
maintenance tasks. Offer technical support to production teams and
address inquiries related to CNC machines. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and guidelines during all
service and maintenance activities. Identify and rectify safety
hazards associated with CNC machining processes. Collaboration:
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, production managers, and
other stakeholders to optimize CNC machining processes. Communicate
effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production
workflows. Service Calls and Expectations: Maintain a neat, clean,
and professional appearance and uniform at all times. Create
extremely positive customer interactions by generating quotes,
performing work, judiciously purchasing material, and satisfying
our customers. Be extremely punctual and always arrive at the
worksite or customer location early. Provide extremely high levels
of Customer Support by always providing exceptionally professional,
courteous, and cheerful service. Technicians are responsible for
being efficient on a contract, as well as reporting back to the
scheduling team that they are under-scheduled to the 90% (or 7
hours) of billable time. Review of service contract and/or repair
request, must be paired with an upsell or cross-sell opportunity.
Other Duties: Assist with day-to-day operations around the shop and
in the field to include but not limited to Machinery Repair &
Maintenance, Machinery Cleaning, Diagnosing, Disassembly and
Re-Assembly of Machinery, Equipment, Vehicles, and Tools. Perform
Facility Maintenance as required/directed. Deliver and pickup
parts, materials, supplies, water, etc. as required and/or
directed. Be familiar with the proper and safe use of basic hand
and power tools. Safely lift up to 50lbs with both hands and
without the use of a forklift. Other duties as may be assigned.
Other duties as required in support of the department and company
goals. Qualifications & Work Experience: To perform this job
successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily (with or without an accommodation). The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent;
additional technical certifications or education a plus. 5 years of
industry experience working for a large OEM, or a third party
service company such as DMG, Nakamura, Methods, Fanuc, DM
Solutions, Ellison, Citizen, Makino, Star, Takisawa, Matsuura,
Hardinge, Usach, Kellenberger, etc Proven experience as a CNC
Machining Service Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge
of CNC machine operations, programming, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in the use and employment of advanced machine tool
calibration systems such as Renishaw QC-20 Ballbar and XL-80 Laser
Interferometer. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
and technical drawings. Familiarity with various CNC control
systems and software. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and

full-time hourly (non-exempt) position (40 hours/week). Pay: This
pay does not include any opportunity for incentive compensation and
is only reflective of the base pay for this position. The range of
pay for this California-based position is $31.25-$40.87 hourly. The
actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of
factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and

contract manufacturing facility in an urban industrial
