Job Description:
A company is looking for a Care Coordinator - Auth - Scheduling
Specialist - REMOTE.
Key Responsibilities
Completes referrals for patients and coordinates with referring and
receiving practices and/or departments
Obtains necessary authorizations and directs patients to providers
within their insurance plan
Coordinates and schedules surgical procedures and diagnostic
testing, ensuring accuracy in scheduling
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Computer experience required
Thorough understanding of insurance coverage and medical necessity
policies preferred
Knowledge of medical records software preferred
Customer service experience required
