Job SummaryThe primary purpose of the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the execution and optimization of our advertising strategy. This role requires high level knowledge of SEO/SEM, keyword research, email marketing, social media marketing, lead generation and retainment, content marketing, and reporting. You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and work closely with them to promote strategic programs through daily execution.Essential Job DutiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Managing the digital marketing calendarMaintaining the online presence and reputation of the companyOverseeing the creation and maintenance of social media contentPlans, develops, and executes digital programs and campaigns including online advertising e-mail marketing website integration mobile and other digital deliverables. Interfaces with marketing communications team as well as Social Media Web/Digital Content and Public Relations. Leads ongoing management of digital touch points.Works closely with marketing communications Content and Creative to develop and execute e-mail marketing campaigns for various external audiences that support the marketing communications and business strategies of Company and its service lines and that meet or exceed industry benchmarks in campaign performance/results.Evaluates and successfully implements e-mail marketing technologies including integration with other digital touch points.Tracks reports and analyzes digital display paid search/PPC initiatives and e-mail campaigns. Works with Digital/Web team to analyze website traffic and visitor behavior related to these inbound and outbound digital marketing efforts.Works with the Digital/Web team to support SEO best practices across all Company digital channels including website social media and mobile.Performs other related duties as assigned Skills RequiredMinimum of a bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar roleExperience with digital marketing automation softwareExperience with Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google AnalyticsProficiency with SEO toolsSuperb verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentStrong time management skillsExcellent multitasking skillsStrong analytical skillsHighly developed attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesQuick learner with a passion for technology, software, and dataRegularly go above and beyond to exceed expectations and goals Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position does have supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis position works in an open office setting that is quiet, fast paced, fosters continuous learning while operating under high demand/volume. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.TravelSome travel will be required for this position.Education and/or Experience DesiredMinimum of five to ten years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or related field.Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the power tools industry.Bachelor's degree from a college or university, or equivalent professional institution.
