Description:Day shift (7am-4pm) Press Brake operator needed for large manufacturing facility in La Mirada, CA. Will be operating Amada precision CNC press brakes and support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, bending and kitting metal products as instructed by supervisor.Primary ResponsibilitiesOperate Amada precision CNC press brakes and support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, bending and kitting metal products as instructed by supervisorOperate the CNC press brake and other machinery used in the sheet metal department or assist other machine operatorsSelect and set up tooling based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipmentKnowledge about bend deductions and correctionsSkills:laser cutter, machine operation, Brake press, cnc, blueprints, inspection, blueprint readingTop Skills Details:laser cutter,machine operation,Brake press,cnc,blueprints,inspectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of experience on Trumpf, Amada or similar CNC press brake/bending machines. Exp working with sheet metal. Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance. Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills. Familiar with protractors, angle measurement devices, calipers and micrometers.
