Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a visionary Chief Architect to lead the FLITE
architecture effort at Los Angeles Air Force Base. In this
mission?critical role, you will shape the future of Missile Warning
Integration and Test, driving the evolution, optimization, and
long?term sustainment of the FORGE architecture—one of the nation’s
most important space-based defense capabilities. As the senior
technical authority, you will guide enterprise?level architectural
decisions, influence strategic direction, and ensure the Missile
Warning enterprise remains resilient, modern, and aligned with
emerging threats and technologies. Your expertise will directly
inform government leadership and help define the next generation of
Missile Warning capabilities. Telecommuting 50% : Candidates must
be within commuting distance of Los Angeles AFB, CA. Anticipated
start date: 1 April 2026 What You’ll Be Doing Serve as the Chief
Architect for Missile Warning Integration and Test, providing
authoritative technical leadership across the enterprise. Assess
the current FORGE architecture and chart its future direction,
ensuring scalability, resilience, and mission alignment. Deliver
high?impact recommendations for system improvements, architectural
optimization, and long?term sustainment strategies. Advise senior
leadership on architectural risks, tradeoffs, dependencies, and
opportunities that shape Missile Warning capabilities. Maintain
deep awareness of adjacent technologies, programs, and interfaces
that influence or integrate with Missile Warning systems. What
You’ll Need Active TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree in science or
engineering and 17 years of relevant experience Proven expertise
supporting Missile Warning systems, architectures, and integration
efforts Demonstrated ability to provide senior?level technical
leadership and shape enterprise architecture strategy Residency
within commuting distance of Los Angeles AFB, CA If you're looking

posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $131,300.00 -
$237,350.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general
guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
