Job Description Job Description We are seeking friendly, reliable Survey Representatives to conduct in-person surveys with passengers along designated bus routes in El Monte, West Covina, Hacienda Heights, Pomona and Montclair. Representatives will ride assigned buses, approach riders courteously, and collect feedback to support transportation planning and service improvements. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with the public and are comfortable working throughout transit environments. Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour Location: Various bus routes and transit stops between El Monte, West Covina, Hacienda Heights, Pomona, and Montclair Employment Type: Full-Time Project Schedule: Various schedules with potential for overtime Key Responsibilities Ride assigned bus routes and travel between transit stops as scheduled Approach bus riders in a professional and respectful manner Administer short surveys accurately using paper forms or electronic devices Clearly explain the purpose of the survey and obtain participant consent Record responses accurately while maintaining data confidentiality Meet daily or weekly survey completion targets Follow all safety, transit authority, and company guidelines Report any issues or incidents to a supervisor promptly Qualifications Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, and riding buses for extended periods Ability to work independently and follow instructions Reliable and punctual for the duration of the project Preferred Skills & Experience Outgoing personality Multilingual abilities (a plus, but not required) Ability to keep track of provided supplies Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work takes place primarily on public buses and at transit stops Must be able to stand, walk, and carry light materials throughout shifts Exposure to varying weather conditions when traveling between stops BBSI provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
