How you'll contribute A Nurse Manager who excels in this role: - Provides a professional working environment for employees. - Ensures the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. - Ensures appropriate documentation, including documentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records, monitors completion and revisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan. - Ensures compliance with nursing scope of practice and HIPAA. - Enforces compliance of the nursing department with education/in-service requirements/orientation and competencies. What we're looking for: - Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. BSN Preferred. - Current unrestricted state licensure as Registered Nurse. - CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred. - CRRN Certification preferred - Minimum of two years of previous nursing leadership preferred. - Minimum of two years previous rehab nursing experience preferred. - Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrates strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
