Summary As a pediatric-focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at Marque Urgent Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our pediatric patients. This position is essential for maintaining our patient-first approach and ensuring that our community receives timely and effective medical care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans. Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures as required. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system (Experity - there will be training). Assist in managing urgent care operations to ensure efficient workflow. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care outcomes. Stay updated on best practices in urgent care medicine. Qualifications Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in California. Experience in pediatric urgent care or outpatient settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of medication administration and basic life support protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective pediatric patient interaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Familiarity with electronic health record systems or computer-savvy. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
