seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will
provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns, collaborating
with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our
patients. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing
practices, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work in
a fast-paced environment. Duties Assess and monitor the health
status of neonates in the NICU, ensuring timely interventions as
necessary. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed,
including tube feeding and other specialized care. Maintain
accurate medical documentation in compliance with hospital policies
and coding standards such as ICD-9. Collaborate with physicians,
case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop
comprehensive care plans. Provide education and support to families
regarding their infant’s condition and care needs. Participate in
emergency response situations within the NICU, utilizing skills
from previous experience in emergency room settings. Ensure
compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized
work environment. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice. Previous experience in a NICU or
similar setting is preferred; experience in medical-surgical or
clinic environments is also beneficial. Knowledge of medical
documentation practices and coding systems such as ICD-9 is
essential. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make
quick decisions under pressure. Excellent communication skills for
effective collaboration with team members and patient families.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with nursing duties,
including standing for extended periods and lifting patients when
necessary. Certification in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) is
preferred; additional certifications related to case management or
