Job Category: Nursing - Patient Facing Shift: Night Schedule: Full time Work Location: Mission Viejo, CASupervisor Nursing - SICU This is a Full Time, 3 Nights - 12 hour shift position.The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 20-bed critical care unit specializing in neuro and trauma critical care management. The facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level II Trauma Center, caring for the most complex patients, such as those with neuro/TBI/stroke/spinal cord injuries, complex surgeries, trauma, and medical critical care needs.This facility has been recognized for excellence in multiple areas of care including orthopedic, gastroenterological, cardiac surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and women's services.Job Summary: Under the direction of the nurse manager, director, or executive director, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to ensure high-quality patient care. Plans, organizes, controls, and coordinates departmental activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective service. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
• One professional certification in a related area (upon hire)
• Two years of recent clinical experience in specialty area
• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experiencePreferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
