WSH Management is currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Team. You will play a pivotal role in managing our Northern California properties. This position will have a hybrid work environment.----Compliance Specialist Job DutiesThe Compliance Specialist will be responsible for any related compliance that may be necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance with all LIHTC properties.--Audits Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) move in and recertification files for all LIHTC financed properties.Prepares compliance files when required. Prepare resident lease documents, provide residents with certification standards and the collection of verification documents related to the Move-in certification process, tenant relations, prepare and check the accuracy of Move-in verification documents, and the preparation and submission of related Move-in documents to compliance manager.--Conducts audits of assigned compliance paperwork at communities.Reviews Move-in compliance paperwork for new move-ins prior to move-in date.Reviews re-certifications for accuracy and compliance.--What we Offer:Salary: $31.00 to $33.00 per hourOn-call for after-hours emergenciesMedical, Dental, Vision, Life and 401k with employer matchPaid vacation and 15 paid company holidaysFull time: 40 hours per weekCompliance Specialist--QualificationsWhile we are proud to offer on-the-job training for all positions, we prefer you to start with the following experience:A minimum three-years' experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience with auditing LIHTC, HOME, BONDS, Section 8, HCD and other affordable housing programs.Current Tax Credit Experience.Must possess strong attention to detail and critical thinking ability.--Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, 10 key, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 including Word, Excel, Excel Pivot tables and Outlook.Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize workloadCandidate will be required to pass a background and drug screening.
