are seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Film to join our
Studio division at Hartbeat. This position requires a strategic
thinker with exceptional leadership skills, and a deep
understanding of the entertainment industry. As the SVP of Film,
you will oversee the development, production, and distribution of
feature films. You will lead a film team and be responsible for
driving the creative and strategic direction of our film slate. In
success, you will be maximizing profitability, and ensuring the
delivery of high-quality content that aligns with Hartbeat's
vision. This role will report into our Chief Content Officer and
will be an instrumental stakeholder in shaping the creative vision
and driving the overall success of our company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive film strategy aligned
with Hartbeat's business objective.
- Identify and evaluate potential film projects, including
scripts, pitches, and IP for development and production.
- Cultivate relationships with filmmakers, agents, and other
industry stakeholders to source high-quality content and
talent.
- Collaborate with distribution and marketing teams to develop
innovative strategies for maximizing the commercial success of each
film.
- Oversee the development process from script to screen, working
with writers, directors, producers, and key creative personnel;
provide creative feedback and guidance throughout the production
process to maintain artistic integrity and commercial
viability.
- Coordinate the release strategy, including theatrical and
digital distribution, to optimize revenue potential and to reach
Hartbeat's target audience. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 10+ years of experience in creative content creation for filmed
entertainment with proven success in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in film development, production,
and distribution with experience overseeing large budgets and
feature films.
- Strong creative instincts and a deep understanding of
storytelling, filmmaking techniques, and industry trends.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability
to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the
ability to build and maintain relationships with key
stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with results-oriented mindset and the ability
to drive both creative and commercial success.
- Degree in Film, Media, Business or related field.WORK HARD,

within the pay range will be decided based on factors including,
but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and work
location. In addition to the base salary, the compensation package
for this role also includes a discretionary bonus, based on
