Overview
TRC is looking for a project manager who specializes in control
center A/V to join our team. The project manager is crucial for the
success of the project and orchestrating activities that align with
the goals of the organization. The project manager has the overall
responsibilities to assure project is on time, within scope and on
budget. Determines the priority of tasks, timing of deliverables,
support and dependencies needed to assure successful completion.
The goals of the project must align and meet and exceed the needs
of the overall program. The project manager must be a critical
thinker and excellent communicator to assure successful turnover of
the project during go-live and post go-live. Project manager may be
involved in coordination and cross workstream activities. **This
person will be expected to work onsite in the Los Angeles
area.**
Responsibilities
--- Works with multiple stakeholders to develop our client's
technology strategy, defining needs and providing project
management for audio/visual display room installations. Acts as
technical liaison with other project managers.
--- Oversees project schedule, scope, cost and project management
related activities for the digital content work stream
--- Provides input to integrating, testing and supporting of AV
equipment.
--- Provides guidance and expertise in digital content strategies,
software/hardware integrations and cloud-based solutions.
--- Acts as project manager and technology lead in defining digital
content visualization and display integration in operating
functions.
--- Provide oversight of A/V vendor implementation contract and
closely monitor performance milestones.
--- Maintains consistency in product selection, equipment
installation, and user interface. Oversees equipment installations
across locations.
--- Stays abreast of display wall, audiovisual and collaboration
technologies and evaluates fit for our client's control center
modernization initiatives and introduces new ideas to AV team.
--- Communicates clearly and often with managers, directors and on
all aspects of project scope, budget, risks, and other departmental
concerns.
--- Supervises technical integrations staff who will integrate
software into operational use and support for meetings and special
events.
--- Develops and maintains support for technical-issue reporting,
troubleshooting and maintenance.
--- Manages time responsibly, allocating tasks to team and self,
based on department priorities, organizational needs, and employee
skill level.
--- Handles complex meeting planning, defining appropriate
technology, risk, staff assignments and final execution.
--- Oversees external vendors who provide maintenance and
installation support.
--- Collects, develops, and maintains department metrics and
develops procedures to ensure quality, service, and solutions
across all aspects of audiovisual services.
--- Leads continuous improvement process efforts to refine and
improve internal procedures
Qualifications
--- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or
related field.
--- Minimum of 5 years of complex systems integrations projects
--- Experience in leading managing projects in support of utility
operations and control rooms.
--- Experience in leading teams, work streams and supporting day to
day project activities.
--- Clear communication, presentation and analytical skills.
Desired Qualifications:
--- Expertise with control rooms technologies used in
collaboration, user experience, sharing, visualizations.
--- Experience with utilities, utility operations, and control
center operations.
--- PMP Professional Certification

Salary Range
USD $128,500.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
