Environmental Health Safety Manager Job Summary Our organization is looking for an Environmental Health Safety Manager to help us ensure that we are in compliance with all industry and government regulations. In this role, you will audit our worksites and follow up to ensure that the team has corrected any violations. This position is essential to the health of our employees and our company, so we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented. Applicants must have manufacturing experience. Environmental Health Safety Manager Duties and Responsibilities -- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including those set by OSHA and the EPA -- Conduct safety compliance audits -- Follow up to make sure the team has corrected any workplace violations -- Implement internal policies to support employee health and safety -- Submit permit applications and renewals -- Follow regulatory reporting requirements Environmental Health Safety Manager Requirements and Qualifications -- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety; Master's preferred -- Aerospace experience preferred -- 6 years of experience -- Knowledge of industry regulations -- Manufacturing experience in the industry (strongly preferred) -- Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) -- Organizational skills Employment Type: Contract Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $74,000 - $134,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
