Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

This role is the mechanical engineering lead focal point for new design developments. Responsible for executing the design for projects from inception through the specification, design, fabrication, validation and testing of development, Responsibilities:

Conceptualization of new designs based existing product line
Evaluate products, parts or processes for cost efficiency and reliability
Ensure optimum manufacturing capability and costs in design
Assistance to the design group in SolidWorks
Technical oversight (including design, manufacturability, analyses, etc.)
Ensure timely completion of project deliverables, including design drawings, analysis and other documentation Required:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree with 5+ years of experience
- Expert in GD&T standards
- Experience with high-speed machines and/or rotating equipment
- Understanding of structural and thermal simulations
- Understanding of engineering material selection and analysis
- Proficient in SolidWorks
