Job Description Job Description Summary We are currently
representing a well-established General Contractor seeking
experienced Assistant Project Managers to support delivery of
critical public infrastructure projects across California. With a
strong pipeline of K-12, DSA-regulated, and Public Works projects,
this role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact work
while growing into a future leadership position. Key
Responsibilities Assist in managing projects from preconstruction
through closeout on K-12, DSA, or Public Works assignments Support
project managers in coordinating all construction phases to ensure
timely, budget-conscious delivery Participate in preconstruction
activities such as constructability reviews, estimating, and bid
support Help track budgets, prepare cost reports, and support
change order documentation Assist with subcontractor procurement,
bid evaluations, and contract preparation Monitor project schedules
and update timelines with input from field teams Support
documentation control, including RFIs, submittals, and meeting
minutes Help ensure compliance with safety standards, DSA
guidelines, and QA/QC expectations Coordinate communications
between the field, project teams, and stakeholders Assist in final
closeout activities, including punch list tracking and project
turnover Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in
construction, preferably on DSA, K-12, or Public Works projects
Familiarity with California public contracting procedures and DSA
compliance Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and
Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor’s degree in Construction
Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Strong
organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability
to support multiple projects and work collaboratively in team
